Meet the Maker

Small Hours is a Toronto-based leather goods brand, designed and handmade by Jenny.
Jenny discovered leather-working in 2015 and fell in love with the process—the slow pace, the feel of the leather, and the satisfaction of a clean line of stitching. With a background in graphic design and a long love of sewing, she started Small Hours in 2017.
Today, she designs and handcrafts leather key tags, card cases, wallets, passport sleeves, pouches, and bags in small batches from her Toronto studio. Each piece is meant to be simple, considered, and a little playful. Built to be carried for years, and personalized to make it your own.
Materials & Craft

At Small Hours, every piece is designed and handmade in Toronto in small batches.
Jenny works with smooth Spanish leather in a classic box-calf style, a traditional finish known for its fine, tight grain and rich, vibrant colour. It's a structured, substantial leather (3.0–3.5 oz weight) that balances durability with a refined appearance, chosen for both its character and its longevity.
She also works with Italian vegetable-tanned leather, a traditional, slow-tanned leather known for its natural finish and rich patina it develops over time. Each piece begins with a clean, neutral hide and ages into something uniquely yours.
Hardware is solid brass, paired with YKK zippers, the industry standard for quality and longevity. Edges are finished with a clear coat by hand for a clean finish that holds up to daily use.
Complimentary personalization is available on most styles. Each piece is finished with care and built to be carried for years.
