Personalization Guide

For a timeless, classic look, we recommend initials in capital letters with periods (e.g. A.B.C.). Shorter personalizations also last longer, as they allow for a deeper imprint and resist fading over time.

You're welcome to customize the text however you'd like. Please review your customization carefully before placing your order, as we don't offer re-stamping on personalized items.

No. For personalizations of four characters or less, periods don't count. Enter your text without periods (e.g. "SE"), then select "yes" if you'd like periods added (e.g. "S.E.").

Each piece is foil-stamped by hand using a hot-stamping machine and individual brass letters. We carry a range of foil colours to make your personalization stand out.

All personalization is aligned by eye. Since each piece is handmade from a natural material, slight variations in placement may occur — this is a normal part of the handmade process. We use our experience to determine the most balanced placement for each piece, and we're unable to accommodate placement requests that differ from what's shown on the product page.

Foil-stamped personalization can last for years with care. Over time, leather softens and flexes with use, which can cause stamping to crease or fade slightly. To help yours last:

Avoid keeping personalized items in your pocket — repeated movement causes wear
Choose shorter personalizations when possible (they imprint more deeply)

Yes, we attend markets and shows throughout the year and typically offer on-the-spot personalization. Each piece is stamped by hand, so please expect a wait of 15-30 minutes, especially for longer personalizations and for more than 1 item.

Two typefaces are available:

1. Modern (sans serif)
2. Traditional (serif)

Letters are brass, 5mm in height. Accented characters are not available. Punctuation is limited to one of each character per personalization, except for periods (up to four).
